I love my old Rollei Prego. It's a bit on the large size but the lens is

corruption problem. Figured it may have been a card reader problem so copied the
images by Olympus E10 to SM - still corrupted. Other SM cards from other cameras

You couldn't have said it better. I was REALLY excited to see all
the info and pictures of the pre-production model on DPreview, BUT, I
really do want to see how a production model works before I decide to
buy or not.
My $0.02: It's a shame that pre-A lenses aren't getting full
After checking the pictures, I have the feeling that the CF door might be
opened accidentally if the camera was grabbed in certain way. Also, only a
small plastic lock at one end of the battery cover makes me uncomfortable.

The thing is, you wouldn't even need that A* 85/1.4 to have a very fast
portraiut lens - an ordinary $100 A 50/1.4 would suffice :-)

One of the things I love about the K135/2.5: Mount it on
the Vivitar 2x TC and find yourself holding a lovely 270mm
near-macro lens. Stop it down a tad. Now thar's a way to
shoot flowers in the field.

You didn't specify manual focus or autofocus, so I am making some
manual focus (only) suggestions:
Pentax A 70-210/4
Tokina AT-X 80-200/2.8
Over the weekend I took a ferry ride and got salt spray on my camera,
lens, monopod and ballhead. I wiped everything down with a napkin right
afterwards, and when I got home about an hour later I went over
everything again with a damp paper towel and followed with a dry towel.
The lens was covered
