Does anyone on the list need Pentax 'Extra Flashes'? I have two. They are
tiny things that use one AA battery -- about the same power as the 'Popup'
flash in Pentax cameras. They are slaves and have no sync-cable socket, only
a trigger sensor. I wanted to use them for Robins etc. at bird feede

Thanks to all who replied, I don't have a polarising filter just yet and the
widest lens I have is a 28mm. I shoot negatives most of the time. The
rainbows I've seen here appear at any time so I will have a couple of
chances to get it right. Will post if they successful.

EXIF for JPEG format pretty much requires 4x3 aspect ratio thumbnails, at
least according to what i have read. it's allowed to be different, but a lot
of things break by showing funny borders or cropped frames.

The in-camera TIFF format includes a smaller [160 x 120] TIFF thumbnail,

Dunno what happens in camera, but I'm pretty sure that the photoBrowser uses
the thumbnails.
It displays PEF thumbnails noticeably faster than TIF thumbnails.

I purchased mine a long time ago, and
fell in love with it when I got the results back.
Some of the shots had an almost magical 3 dimensional quality.
I quit using my 28mm f2.8 after I saw these results.

with "previously published" unless the photo appeared on a printed page
in another mag. No one that I know worries about photos that have
appeared in obscure places on the net. Thus, PUG photos are not
