They are the quickest way to learn how and why the various things in

Clarity, from my limited use of LR, is an edge contrast tool, Vibrance
adjusts saturation but only on colours with low saturation
BTW, if you don't like LR you wont like PS CS3. It's updated ACR uses
the exact same tools.

I picked up a D-FA 100 macro a few months ago, mostly to replace the
Kiron 105mm f2.8, which suffers from pretty bad CA on the K10D.
Haven't run it through any rigorous tests - but it seems to be fine.
Ergonomics are great - the manual focus grip is large and the AF/MF
focus clutch works great.

I haven't messed with Lightroom since the second beta release, but I
didn't like it then, and didn't like it enough that I haven't tried it
again. For me, the big issue was performance.
No brainer. K10D.

Try as I might, I can't get used to lightroom. I still prefer ACR by
a wide margin. I find the adjustments by click in lightroom to be far
too coarse. And the categories seemed to be aimed at amateurs.

I had a lot to do today, and quite a lot to carry around, so in my

Although I still don't see the distortion you're referring to, I'd
