I rename the files at import, too, but the names reflect the subject of the

It's just a great shot all the way around. You did start with the classic

1:2 is macro territory. I know the Pentax 10-17 fisheye focuses very
close, though I don't know how close, I've only handled one once. CPC,
reputed to be a Pentax front company, used to make a 24mm f2.8 macro
focusing prime for 35mm, though I've never seen one in K mount. I

Very nice capture!

I can't find any specifications on it but the Samyang 10mm rectilinear
has .85 feet as it's closest focusing distance marked on it's barrel,
which by my calculations, (who'm I kidding, I used f/calc), gives a max
reproduction ratio of .08:1 so no Macro there. I'd just be happy with

Thanks to all for the responses.
I'm going to revise the file number to include a '1' just before the four
digits as in from _IGP to IGP1.
Its in keeping with my current filing sytstem as I file images by date of
capture in a month file which is filed in a year file.

See my earlier rant about the lack of uniform specifications for
tripod and head performance.
All the more reason to look at the ball heads that have been around for
awhile - they must be capable or they wouldn't still be selling.

The song was so cynical when it was written, I find it amazing it now
means the opposite of it's words, much like Springsteen's "Born in the

If you listen to his lyrics and compare them to the original, you'll
see he's made some changes. Especially poignant ones, when you
consider that Commander Chris Hadfield leaves the ISS for earth in
just a few days.
