I agree about the rugged camera and would recommend the Pentax WG, which I own
(but I don't know anything about the other cameras listed on the link below).
Solid camera, fun to play with in the water, easy user interface. If that's
still too complicated, I'd also recommend a good phone camera

Bruce, you are absolutely right. Best I could have done at 100mm was f4.5. I
would love a fast lens but they are a bit out of my price range. Perhaps I
