I think it's something in the P-TTL circuits of the camera. It's not
something so simple as a contact that stays closed as long as the
shutter is open.
I think the same pin that was used to communicate with AF-500FTZ & tell
it how long the shutter curtain was open is used for something else on

well you got the flavor of the place nicely but doesn't look like you

Hi all!
Got back last night and decided to go ahead and get started on the
photos from my little trip to New Orleans.
I didn't take as many as I'd intended, as I succumbed to the atmosphere
of the place and wound up spending the better part of my time in the
city at a jazz club called The Sp

Those Great American Lakes must be the best place in the world for
lighthouse images. I so envy you the shots you make of them, Mark.
Good timing on the splash. And that old one with the ice just underlines my
point. Most lighthouses serve areas with salt water that rarely freeze up
like that.

I don't think I've ever seen someone on this list come back from a short trip
with so many high quality photos. Makes me sick.

Water Wars is a nice humorous interpretation, those kids sure had fun.
And they took out the big guns:)
Little Grand Canyon is intriguing, it looks both chaotic (irregular
patterns) and ordered (repetition of the same patterns) to me. Might
be a good representation of fractals occurring in nature.
