Nice gallery. Ken’s photo is both beautiful and conceptually brilliant.
Dave’s is excellent as
I feel for you. I don't have battery problems but I do have a 18-250
Pentax lens that has a lock on the lens. Well it will decide to get
locked in the 18 and I can not expand it out and other times it works as
it should. I got it used from KEH and of course it decided to act up
after their 6
I finally broke out my K3 and went to a local park and captured some really
close up images of turkeys and sandhill cranes - I haven't shot much of
anything for the last several months - I hope this breaks my lazy photo streak.

I have somehow managed to lose my spare D-LI90 batteries.
In the meanwhile, I went over to my local Pentax dealer and bought two more. Got
them home and discovered one of them was a D-LI109 which won't fit the K-1 or
the D-BC90 charger. (Note, I didn't even try to put it on the charger)
No
Oh, yes, I almost forgot. He doesn't repair digital cameras, it's right
there on the home page of his web site, but if you've been paying
attention, you probably already knew that.

I would have expected nothing less, or more for that matter. Ricoh has a
contract with Precision. Selling you the lube would probably violate
that contract. I would suggest emailing Erick Hendrickson at
Pentaxs.com and ask if he can either spare a little of the proper
lubricant or and what
That just doesn't sit well with my upbringing. I grew up with "Use it,
repair it, reuse it and keep on using it until it can't be repaired any
more."
Same here John - I think its something about 'our' generation. My family
didn't have the money to buy new things as I was growing up so when
I sent a note to Ricoh asking about lubricant for the lens release
button, commenting that Precision is useless. I received a reply today:
Thank you, for contacting Ricoh Imaging.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past,
present and future support.
I am sorry

Last night was unusually clear so in a fit of wtf I went back to the tree.
There were some interesting challenges, and I don't have them all solved, so I
just tacked the better ones on to the end of the old set

Cameras are not the only consumer item not made for repair. Try to get a coffee
maker or other kitchen appliance repaired and you'll find the same issue.
In optimizing design,
So ... get the BGN grade one from KEH. It would have its own honest scars, so
you won't have to feel too bad about it.

Maybe someday you can take a vacation and see the American (and/or Canadian)
west in winter. January is my favorite month of the year to visit the Grand Canyon.
