Well, just get 2GB ram, and assemble whatever you can afford for a complete
system. CoreDue is definitely much faster than D, and 64 X2 is yet again
better than D for the same price. 64 X2 4200+ AM2 seems to have the sweet
spot on price at the moment.

isopropyl alcohol works too but takes a little more skill. In fact they work
so well I use them for CCD cleaning too. Dirt cheap and not as scary it may
seem once you tried. But for CCD, you need a pair of metal tweezers.

plastic gear on the mirror motor is cracked. A brass gear has been issued by
Pentax since but the labour to have it replaced is steep. I fixed my MZ-3
once and the whole body had to be disassemlbed basically.

The only test (not opinions) I have found is photodo, and their results are

much inline with my experience. I shoot and test my FA43 many times and came to

There is no DAJ.
DA - digital only w/o aperture ring
DFA - digital + full frame with aperture ring
FAJ - full frame w/o aperture ring
