Hi Everyone:
If you're in Chicago, check out the W. Eugene Smith--The Jazz Loft
Project exhibition at the Chicago Cultural Center. It's excellent.
Jazz Fest was this weekend at Millennium Park. We've had lovely
weather for it.

Some interesting photo books reviewed in today's Times. You can find them on line. See "The

potential goody).

Have you tried Peace Camera in Raleigh? They might not be on the
official distribution list, but I'll bet they could get you one
if you ask. Plus they are a real old-time local indy camera shop.

I've been buying from B&H for years. They're great.
Seems Adorama is showing something close to list prices on their web
page now. Add an item to the shopping cart to see the real selling price.

B&H hadn't followed, when I looked about an hour ago

You're probable thinking of Tri-State. Actually Abe's (formerly of Brooklyn and
even more formerly of Maine) now has its warehouse in NJ as well.

Pentax software needs to be run in Administrator mode on Vista in order
to function correctly. Right click
on the icon and select "Run as Adminstrator" if you haven't tried that yet.
