Hi!
Too bad this guy shoots Canon...

But it made me wonder: are there kite-photographers or RC-airplane
photographers, or RC-submarine photographers, or other
spectacular-construction imagebuilders on the PDML as well?
And would you attach your LX (or MZ-S o
Hey there!
I saw the Pentax Lens Gallery and was pleased by the information on it. But
then I thougt: "Hey, none of my P-primes are listed" (Well, maybe one of my
50mms is.) If you're interested, I could add test shots (that I should make
first) with a 135mm/3.5M lens, with a 100mm/2.8M lens,
Hello!
It's been a while since I promised the results of your MZ-S AF post in a
dutch photo news group. I had hoped to get thousands of replies, equally
devided among all camera brands, with a resulting table of scientificly
trustable data.
Must say that I do not have any of such. Even worse,
Hey, what's that? someone calls the 5n a "bummer" and nobody (or should i
say no body?) reacts?
What's wrong with the 5N? What's your disappointment about? Oh come on,
don't say it's that you were too attached to the manual modes, should be
something else.
Well?
My defense for the cam may b
I can understand the disappointment. A 13mm lens would have been something
unique! I have never seen such a lens before, have you? How many groups
would it have? And what filter size? 72mm at least, dont you think? Wow,
I'ld like that as a pancake. :-)

Hi all,
Since there are so many mails in this newsgroup, I will keep my questions
short:
* Do you have comments on the Vivitar K-mount 135 mm f/2.8 lense?
* Will it be worth about $45 second hand & in good shape?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with this greenie!

Hey, a swimming pool? Is that your garden?
Like the sharpness, DOF and contrast. Yet a swimming lady would have made
the picture more perfect... just too perfect to be a test shot.
I ebay scored this lens a few months back for $99 mint. :)
Highly recommended if you can get lucky & find one. Oh y
Hi!Will be short. Many mssgs. Little time. So selection: threads in which i
participated, and threads about equipment that would fit mine.
I read about five minutes every hour. Most time takes selecting which mssgs
to delete without reading... ;-) Syb.

Hi Henry and others,
I have taken the liberty to translate your experiment descriptions in Dutch
and posted it on a Dutch newsgroup on photography. I asked whether other
brands (nikon, minolta, canon...) had the same problem. If so, it is
interesting to know.
Btw: if you're interested in this
Now on ebay: a ZX-5n QD body. (no longer very cheap, price has mounted over
$200)
Question: What does QD mean? Is it better than "just" ZX 5N? Does QD exist
in Europe as well? And what is it called here? (Is there a MZ-5n QD?)
Thanks!

Too bad! This seller is trying to find a Pentax 6x7 photographer who:
(1)does not know what material exists; and
(2)does not recognize the lens as being manual focus.
No wonder he got only one assignment... ;-)
Ehh...

I consider buying a Pentax 100-300 FA lens, the new silver one, f4.7-5.8.
But since there has been lots of critics on the 4.5-5.6 lens, I thought I
should ask your opinion on the newer lens.
You can have a look at the results of the extensive tests of telezooms in

Hi!
Recently, my MZ-5n has started to grow old: the ISO-sensor is damaged, the
flash is impotent (won't stand up when you push the button),and the film
insert is no longer as easy as it used to be.
So I could buy a twinbrother: another MZ-5N body.
I like the operating of this camera, the two
