I have one of the M100/2.8 lenses and like it very much. I use it all the
time. I bought mine new for US$110 many years ago and it is always with my
cameras, whether I'm using my K1000 or my ZX-5.

lights and found the exact same thing, the dress
changed to green when we went to a place with flourescents. weird...

DOH!
Nick
That's because non-filtered flourescent light is green! I have to wear
rose-tinted glasses because flourescent light gives me migranes.

A while ago, someone post a URL for a site that had owners manuals
available. Could someone please send the URL off-list? I would appreciate
it very much.

Bob, do you mean inside the top plate? My K1000, purchased new in 1980 says
asahi opt. co. on the back top. The only other engraving is the serial
number (6700256) on the bottom plate. Is it possible to tell where it was
assembled by the serial number?
TIA

love to shoot B/W and always have a camera ready with the film. I also
like to shoot B/W IR film. I will shortly be dedicating my K1000 to IR.
Tonal control, contrast, and dark skies (BW and IR films respond
differently)

complication of having to learn the artistic tools at the same time. I
congratulate you for spending the time with you aunt, learning what she had

used nothing but prime lenses since, at least until I bought my ZX-5 with
the 35-80 zoom in 1995. I like that zoom quite a bit. Maybe, I'll look at
some more.

This Eric in Utah and I have a silly question for the pdml. The two
manual
cameras that I own are the P3t and ZX-M
filter. The 25 is too weak for the Ilford.
My infrared gallery has some examples of Konica w/ 25 filter. I willsoon be
adding some SFX photos.

the chance.
I have no experience with its pullability.
Finest grain slide film available and an immaculate
image.
Jack,
I was unaware of this film. I quit shooting slide film several years ago
when I quit competing in slide competitions.
Thanks for the update and correction.
