Has any one noticed that the colors of the control panels on the starship
Voyager are almost exactly the colors of the focusing scales on Pentax

And the Cowboys still managed to beat them now and again.
Does Jack Kent Cooke still own the team? Is Joe Gibbs still the coach?
Bobby Beathard still the GM? Is Art Monk still running his routes? Big
Dave Butz? Riggo still the running back? The Hogs?

You know, it's odd, but I haven't heard much about the Cowboys recently.

Has anyone used this repair service for any camera, even if not a
Pentax. Someone pointed me to the site but had no experience with them.
I asked around and got a couple of responses. A local camera store manager
said he has seen some of their work and said the range was from pretty good
I know. I dropped out at about $760.
Just checked, the lens went for US $768.09... what a bargain.

I used to work in public relations and fundraising for a children's charity

who were engaged in our fundraising events. Most were quite gracious.
Perhaps that was related to the fact that they were helping the
I have the manual Tokina 300 2.8 and it is an excellent lens. Sharp, nice
bokeh, with smooth and fast manual focusing. And it works acceptably well
with the Pentax 1.7 AF convertor as long as you prefocus somewhere in the

I have kicked this theory around for a while, but last night's wedding kind
of sealed it.
To set it up, here are the details. We have a hotel here in town that has
been converted into office space and the like. It was the second hotel ever

Hell, most self-respecting Texans don't even consider themselves
"Americans", they are "Texans" first and foremost.
Amen. We were an independent republic before being conned into joining the

Yes, and when you want to shoot a horizontal and a verticle of the same
subject you can unmount and remount the camera on the tripod rather

1. What should I look for in a photographer?
First of all you should be comfortable with his/her personality. You don't
want to spent the happiest day of your life with a grumpy photographer
bossing you and your family and friends around.
Are there any essential questions I should
