Besides a Pentax owner, I am a Leica owner. I would like an "inexpensive"
M-mount camera body.
If only Pentax had gone this way.

Hassy got to me back in the early 1980's. I picked up a Hasselblad 1600
that came with a Kodak Ektar lens. Eventually, I got a wide, medium tele,
and tele lens for that classic Blad.
Then it was on to a 500c and the 80mm lens for it. I wanted to use the
camera for weddings. But, it was
LX, ESII, and my 645. However, I think Canon's T-90 has a great feel.

Hi Doug,
Are the screens for the PZ-1p all interchangeable with LX screens? Or did
you have make some adjustments on the screens?

Hi,
A lot of the group own the PZ-1p. What items for the this camera have some
of you acquired that make it easy, if that's the term, to use in everyday
shooting. I know I can't get an AA adapter for it like I got for my SF1n
camera. Some have mentioned a grip that make handling the PZ easier.
Looking at that S3 brought back memories when I received a Honeywell Pentax
H3 for my college graduation. I still own the camera and have the same
meter as in the auction.

A while ago I was looking at BH's site on film. I was surprised to see 620

Wonderful photographs. I live north of you, up in Oregon. Haven't been to
the coast in awhile. I like how well the shot using the Yashica T4 Super
came out since I own one myself.
One day I'll get a chance to head west to the Oregon coast. Hopefully, it
won't be raining at sunset.

Who came out with the first SLR that had a built-in flash?

I was looking through Petersen's Photographic Magazine and I never saw
mention Kodachrome 25 Professional. In their comparisons of slide films it
said that K25 has been discontinued. What's up?

I use a spirit level that fits on the accessory shoe on my ESII's, LX, and
645 Pentaxes. I have never seen a tripod with a level built in.

I don't know if I would say "Nikon sucks". When a friend of mine introduced
me to photography he owned a Honeywell Pentax H-3. I got one because he had
lenses that he would occasionally loan me until I had some of my own.
Once I asked him if he could do it over again what SLR would he buy? He

on ebay there is a set of pentax extension tubes (12, 20, 36mm) for K mount,
hardly used from the description, that sit at 50.00 bidding, still below the
reserve price. i've bid on them a few times, but am not the highest bidder.

I like mine. Fortunately, I got it before the prices went crazy on it. I
like to use it on my LX as well and also my SF1n. I know I wouldn't pay the
prices asked for the lens today.
Found a Vivitar 40mm that is the same size as the Pentax 40. Paid $35.00
for it. It's not as silky smooth as
It's the full format of APS. Wide at the sides, as I like to call it. You
can order panoramic or classic 4 X 6 size prints from an APS negative. The
negative isn't masked during exposure for panoramic like 35mm panoramic.
I like APS.

Anyone out there have a SF1 or SF1n with the intervalometer back? Does
light entering the viewfinder on the camera affect exposure when you use the
intervalometer to take photographs? I know that light entering the
viewfinder of an LX will not affect exposure.
