Thanks PJ.
I've gone back and looked for it again.
Using the crop box is the easiest way for me to check verticals.
The error is a couple of line widths, less than my eyes can tell.
With a big astigmatism since childhood, I'm pretty flexible on
straight lines. :-)

I think you imparted a subtle skew to the right, when you corrected the
lean. Not much, less than the width of the grid lines in Photoshop but
enough that I noticed it anyway.

Thanks Marnie,
I tried straightening and stretching this one a bit.
I had actually pointed the camera down a bit, to get less sky.
As a result, the buildings leaned a bit into the composition.
The tall John Hancock Building on the right is also a fooler.
It is not square, the sides slope inward.

Paul, Dave, Jack, and Bob W.,
Thanks for commenting.
And Jack, even with the depressed RE market, it is expensive,
but it's 2 short blocks to school and a 20 minute walk to work.
Bob W., she's pretty excited about the whole thing. We are just
feeling our way.

Nice view, and lovely shot Bob. Very clean photo.
Erin and James are going to the church Thursday to set their wedding
date, and book the hall. Looks like I'll be in your boat next October,
except farther away from Chicago.:-0
