I'm right-handed but my natural instinct has always been to use my left eye.
When I first bought a rangefinder camera I had to train myself to use the right
eye. Now I'm ambieyestrous.

Right handed, right eyed. Teaching my left eye to see so using it more. Also
teaching my left hand fine motor control, so soon ambi-both.

Right
I've always been right eyed, but my left eye is better in tight, so I've
learned to use the left eye with cameras that don't have a diopter adjustment.
Right handed as well but my right bicep is torn, so I've become fairly
competent with my left hand. Necessity is the mother of invention.

The viewfinder on a dslr tends to be towards the left of the camera body,
whereas for a right-handed person the sights of a rifle are just above your
right cheek when you're aiming. It would be impossible to use your left eye.

Right handed; switched from left eye to right for the viewfinder when I got my
istD because my greasy nose made such a mess of the screen.

I'm ambidextrous. With film bodies, I used my left eye. Digital I tend
to use my right. Part of the reason was the cataract that developed in
my left eye; it was dead center of my FOV. By the time it was visible
to the doc, I had adapted to using my right eye. Post cataract
surgeries on both, I
Right-handed and right-eyed - before and after cataract surgery!

Q: Are you right-handed or left-handed (or ambidextrous)
A: Strongly left-handed
Q: When you use a camera viewfinder, which eye do you put to the viewfinder?
A: Right eye, because of how the camera is shaped. I'm also right
eye dominant, so it works better anyway.
