You can do the same thing with the PC/AV output. The cable came with
your camera.
At the community college where I usually teach, the projectors are
mounted on the ceiling. So I don't have direct access to the
projector. Every instructors desk has a VCR, DVD player or an Elmo
overhead projector
I have a cable, approx 15 ft long, that has a mini hdmi connection at
one end (fits into k-5), and an hdmi connection at the other, which I
plug directly into an Optoma HD projector. You could also connect to
a television, or computer monitor with hdmi-inputs. (Sadly, I can't

meetings, the Pres, hooks up his Canon to the PC and takes the sample
shots to show on the screen what effect he is trying to teach. I may
have to do the odd lesson
