Hi, Pentax hasn't made or marketed the K1000 for several years now. Apparently, when it was last marketed, at least one of the places where they were last manufactured was mainland China. A bunch of us luddites who still use Spotmatics heard a rumour that Pentax sold the rights to the camera to
