Perhaps it should be noted that I mentioned in the description for the
Pentax adapter that the Pentax adapter "usually works better than no-name
or odd brands." Problems with off-brand adapters have been mentioned here
numerous times, but it's nice to have that reinforced every now and then.

ago. One a genuine Pentax and the other a new Promaster.

The K-mount-lens to screw-mount-camera adapter adds considerable space
between the lens and the camera, almost like a teleconverter. It
contains at least one optical element, which allows it to maintain
infinity focus.

M42 to K adapter to that is cheap. i notice they also have a Pentax K to M42
adapter too. no telling how good the optics in the adapter is, but i would
not expect great. i have a friend who has the Pentax K to Maxxum
