Looks like a grain of sand found its way on the pressure plate when
you loaded that particular roll. No wonder judging by the quantity
of dust your camera displays in the picture - and no offense
intended. It happened to me a couple of times, and ever since I take
the time to brush the f
But it sounds like a lab problem to me. You don't get scratch this way with
2 or 3 frames only in the middle of the roll.

Have you ever experienced scratches on the outside (not the emulsion
side) of the film?
I have and I'm suspecting my MZ-S is to blame. Could you please take a
look at this picture and tell me what you think.

Hmmm, does the displayed aperture depend on
Seems that it thinks it's a view camera Is there a "Landscape"
mode on the camera?

Okay all you Pentax guru's.
My MZ-S suddenly starting reporting the f-stop in
manual aperture mode as f64. Doesn't seem to
matter which lens or where you turn the aperture
ring - it still says f64. If you set the lens to the
"A" setting it all seems to be working fine.
Any ideas what broke?
