Ok so I keep getting these pop up windows that say, essentially
URgent!
upgrade now..etc
This is your last warning before you will be automatically upgraded to
the new version
Do you want to up grade now?
and the three buttons - AKS me later, No thanks, and Upgrade now.

You can disable the auto-updates. I've stayed at V5. I see no reason
to upgrade every three months.
Go to Tools | Options | Advanced tab | Update tab | Unselect Firefox.

The other thing you have to watch out for is that everything you install
now wants to add its own search toolbar to your browser.
Some of them don't ask nicely so you have the option of declining or
they hide the check box so you won't know to un-check it.
