Are you referring to B&W prints Paul??
I'll have to research places to buy paper. Most Stables etc i have
been into sell a few kinds, not all.
I still have never seen Matte enhanced around.
I know there is a store near work, maybe i'll just have to go that route

The 2400 will print on premium luster (along with velvet fine art, my
favorite Epson paper) or premium semigloss with no bronzing. You
might see a bit of bronzing on premium glossy.

Snag still when setting the epson profiles, then i realized i had not
unzipped the profiles i downloaded during installation, they were

First calibrate the monitor and set up Photoshop CS
Its the plan old glossy paper, i dont see it on the list so i used ther closest.

I have to agree with Godders. I used ColorSynch for quite a while,
but after reading Godfrey's post about color managed workflow, I
switched to that method. It does provide better results, particularly
when printing BW. The Epson paper profiles are very refined. I had
some problems getting
If you're printing with PS CS, the directions for advanced printing
in Epson's 2400 manual work perfectly on a Mac. They would probably
work with elements as well. CS2 parameters are slightly different.

I had glanced at the mac part of the book, but not in detail, as i
have not loaded the 2400 on the ibook just yet.
Saturday is planed for that task.

Last time i buy a house lower than everyone elses. Its a bugger at
snow melt season in the basement.

going to set the 2400 up on the mac t
I assigned the srgb space to the picture as it didi seem to give the
horse a reddish oversaturated look in RGB.
I'm fairly sure its a setting i'm missing here, just not sure wht.

I was trying to print out a page of 2 4x6's on the basic glossy epson
paper tonight and i'v hit a snag.
I calibtated my monitor about 4 weeks ago and the two test prints were fine.
Today, the prints have an over saturated look to them. The
