I'll know by the end of the weekend. I sent my 500 DG Super to Sigma
about a month ago for the upgrade that allows it to work with the
100D. I'm sure it's essential for this camera as well. I plan on
trying it this weekend.

There were two reports in dpreview that the Sigma did not work. But
none of them were re-chipped version (one was bought this summer).
