I just wanted to post something lighterhearted, a snapshot, or maybe
even a landscape g.
It's been heavily snowing (heavily for this part of Earth) today...

It was my first piece of non-consumer glass (or, as my wife likes
to put it, my first step on the road to spending way too much).
Seeing the difference in results from that lens as opposed to
the original FA 100-300 (or even the surprisingly good M 80-200)
persuaded me (and, more importantly,
This is the other shot I took last night along with Jet Trail that I
liked - slightly different than the previous PESO.

Oh, I believe we've both told him on more than one occasion.
I like this new concept, though. Hating the photographer ~and~ their
gear.
Now hate is a very strong word grin. Maybe we could go with loathe
or something like that.
Guess I shouldn't say that I picked up the K 200/2.5 from KEH in

Hello John,
I won't go to loathe, but extremely jealous comes to mind. It was
your A* 200/2.8 that started it all for me back at Muir Woods. That
is one sweet lens - not to mention that huge zoom. I think Peter
should really loathe you.
