I've been thinking about it lately, been wanting to do embedded stuff since
about 20 years ago and never quite got around to it. I did some dabbling with
DSP stuff at work several years ago which was interesting and I've had projects
since then which would have been much simpler with a micro.

Just for giggles, anyone on the list interested in playing with Arduino stuff?
I've got one running a 9-axis position/rate capture system. I'm trying to get
GPS working with it, but either I'm an idiot or I have a broken integration or
a broken GPS receive
It is on my to do list, but so far all I have done is buy a book. I want to
look at replacing some of the systems in my Jobo processor as they are getting
a little flaky. It is all pretty simple stuff so even an electronics dunce
like me should be able to wrk it out.

I bought one a few weeks ago and did some basic stuff with it, but have put
it down and not picked it up again because things are too busy. I ran into a
problem with some of the colour-coded components in that I'm colourblind,
and don't know what's what! When I get the time I will build a solar win
