My guess is that this is a warning that if you change either the aperture or
shutter speed, the green button needs to be pressed again.
Think I'll go out and shoot some with the Vivitar S1 70-210.

I just did the upgrade. This whole process is now eerily similar to my
Spottie. It does work fine, however, and it meters correctly as my 4
shot test run indicates. Very acceptable result from my POV.

It remembers them until reset. If you change the apertur

the exposure manually. It "sticks" until you push the button
