Had some time this afternoon, so I rendered the Corvette pics on my
calibrated monitor and was able to coax more detail out of
the red bloom. The young lady in the first pic was guarding the front
between car washes.

Thanks Marnie. The reveals are a show and are sometimes called unveilings.
That word happens to be on the naughty list of the Times style guide (not sure
why), but they allow it to be
Great gallery, Paul. Nicely documented Big Reveal.
I rather think that that poor lady is beyond repair though. :-)

Ya did good, Paul! That brightly lit electric red is so brilliant it appears
the paint surface may have actually been unavailable to the camera. Must have
been somewhat of a frustration at times. Results, however, were extremely
successful.

I redid the render on the girl. Still suffering from the color and lack of
light, but she looks less dead.

Great collection, Paul. You really captured the glamor of the event. You
managed to keep just enough separation between the yellow sign above the
car and the red roof. In the heat of the moment I doubt that I would
have been able to do that!

Thanks Mark. I think the separation between sign and car was calculated by the
show producers. Shooting from the front of the hall from either a seated or
