With multiple cards it's less of a pain to use an external reader than having to shuffle them all through the camera to download. Insert the card, turn the camera on, connect it to the computer, download, disconnect, turn the camera off, remove the card ... rinse & repeat. And it sucks batte

They probably do not offer it anymore (the prices are a lot less too) but the first 8 gig SDHC Sandisk cards I bought at Costco over two years ago came with a single card reader (USB 2.0 is usually the clue) in each package. Only 1/2 inch wider and 3/4 in ch longer than the card itself. Lea
