Has anyone experience of the 135 f2.8 A lens? How would users rate it for
portrait and landscape work?
I have an offer of a used version of this lens and was wondering how other
users would rate it.
Thanks,
Pat
. Actually I like
the Sears 135/2.8 I have better, and it's not great by
any means.

The general consensus, and I agree with it, is that this is one
of the worst Pentax 135s in both contrast and sharpness.
Much better is the M 135/3.5, a very sweet lens.
Even better is the SMC K 135/2.5
I have one!! It's mint! It's wonderful!
(It's the one that came in a Pentax velvet bag inside an LX box.)
