OT, because these are just crappy phone pics, but we also have glitz chickens
dropping by our house fairly often (and we live in a typical suburban
neighborhood - no idea where they normally hang out). They’ll come right up to
the front door.
Also, we had a little momma bird build a nest in one

It's small, maybe when she's out of the nest I'll mount a mirror that'll give
me a better angle to photograph her.

I'm thinking a finch of some sort..
as to exposure on the peacock looks ok to me.. on my HP desktop..

Larry, I like these pics! I’ve never seen peacocks this close-up, and so
haven’t appreciated the details of their colors.
The exposure is tricky, as the bird is dark-colored and there is dappled
sunlight. I imagine that you already did what you could with the exposure
sliders in LR.
A friend
I just rechecked the link- it leads to my PESO page rather than the intended

Thanks for the feedback, no it isn’t “right out of the camera”, according to
Lightroom I did darken it 1 stop. Going back to it, it looks fine on my phone,
fine when large on my computer monitor
Very dark. Is this right out of camera or phone?

That’s just something that I made up this weekend.

There are a few in the neighborhood, they’re even noisier than the mourning
doves.

Do you call Peacocks "Glitz Chickens" over there? Amazed they are
feral. BTW, I see there are also chicken/peacock hybrids in existence!

Hi Colin - thanks for the offer but I beg to differ. The MX is unique. The dust
cap has two small holes for a removal tool (narrow circlip pliers will do) and
unscrews off the lever to reveal the screw beneath. And it is reverse-threaded
(don’t ask me how I know ;-)

Did a lot of color printing but never cibachrome. The double exposure
is very nice but then I scrolled 2 pix to the left and came across the
image of the woman on the dunes. That one is absolutely extraordinary!

Like all the ones without crowds in them more than those that do.
