I have this day received my *istD back from CR Kennedy's(Australian

Hello Again,I succumbed and took the camera in to the Sydney Pentax dealer
with a couple of 'photo's of my dust problem,and it seems at least one or
two if not more are pixel problems.Not so bad after 4 months.So I must use
film for a couple of weeks(sigh...) whilst they (hopefully)fix

Perhaps you fiddle with it too much. If you are over-conscious of a
couple of pieces of dust, fiddling with the camera will only introduce
more dust, and it looks, from your description of your actions, that you
have been doing a lot of fiddling.

I haven't adjusted my technique for the new camera, which
may be contributing to the mess my sensor is in.
I routinely forget to turn the camera off

about dust prevention.Just want to know the best method of removing
recalcitrant spots that are difficult to remove from the sensor.

Have you ever heard of Speckgrabber from Kinetronics? It's a little plastic
stick with an adhesive tip that lifts dust from mirrors, screens, CCD's and
other surfaces without leaving a mark or residue. Give it a try. Using
blower bulb is the worst thing you can do, I tried removing specks
