Thanks, Christine. I did use a diffuse when the sun was shining
directly. The K-01's focus peaking is indeed very useful for closeups -
plus it is a lot easier to compose with the LCD when the camera is just
a few inches off the ground. I came home much less muddy than in past years.

All excellent but the 4th one with those sharply defined hairs on the
sepals(?) is the standout for me.

Yep they are Hepatica and the once Bloodroot, the large green foliage seen
in some shots is Wild Garlic (best identified by sense of smell...)
