I like the cheap Chinese grip for the K-5, so when Paul S. got one, I
ordered a Pentax model for my K-3.
That was 11/11/13 and BH still hasn't filled the order.
Now the combined deal with Ricoh for the price I paid for the K-3 alone. :-(
It should move anybody on the fence to get the camera.

When I shoot rock concerts, I shoot upwards of 1,000 images on the K5 (and
earlier the K7) and the only time I've ever had to swap batteries mid-stream
is if I've been foolish enough to start out with a not-already-fully-charged
battery.
Are you using the built-in flash, or something else

I agree, I shot 1929 images on a single Pentax fully charged battery
in the grip on one K5 last night but that's using back button focus,
no image post view, no flash and no video and minimal chimping. I gave
up putting an additional battery in the body when using the grip as
