The MZ-5n and the MZ-S both easily lose their eyecups. I tried silicone

In the drugstore, I found small black rubber bands (Goody brand) in the hair
section, with hair ties and clips and so on. The packet holds around 20, so

I'm on eyepiece number 2 as well. However, since I believe that the
gods of entropy require a sacrifice for anything to actually work, I'll
offer up the eyepiece. Better than the lens falling off . . .

Ohhyeah, the grip. That is one of the best non-optical things I've
ever bought for any camera :) I have rather big hands, and the MZ-S
almost was too small without it.

MZ-S is very, very nice camera, the only bad point is the "àù$-¤#]°ù%

wendy,
Mine fell off in my bag, so I was able to recover it. I do take more
notice of it because it can come off easily. It's still a mighty nice
camera anyway.

You can easily turn off the beeper if you wish. The MZ-S is more expensive
in Canada than in the US (grrr), but I bought mine here anyway, and I'm very
happy with it.
