all three of the 2012 lenses on the road map. Keep in mind that any
new full frame lenses could also be used on APS-C cameras, the same
way that we use the older glass

1975 Chevy Monza, if I'm not mistaken.
When was the last time you saw one of those on the road?

Jack,
Odds are your mail program got messed up because the full link wraps
onto the 2nd line.
If you copy and past the whole thing into your browser's address field
(instead of just clicking)
you'll get the page. (It works fine in Gmail)

Interesting opinion piece and the comments are valuable, as well.
In my opinion, the lost capability that is most serious on an APS-C
camera is the wide angle shift lens for doing architecture, etc.
The focal length multiplier kills you on that score. The Canon TSE
lenses are to die for.

I'm guessing that there will be a flood of used ones on the market
once the D800 is actually shipping, meaning that used bodies will be
probably soon be under $1500. Tempting.
Not sure if this has been mentioned b4.

Of no interest to me, but it may be to some.

If you saw a man drowning and you could either save him or photograph
the event...what lens would you use?

Forgive me for the non-Friday posting.
I've got an LX body, FA-1 finder & LX Winder combo slashed to $325.
Need to pay for an impulse purchase.
(Doesn't sound like me at all, does it?) : \

Yes, I was excited. When there are only an estimated 600 of something
