One of my non-photographic passions is listening to classical music.
I have a pair of Sennheiser PXC 550 II headphones that I like a lot, usually
playing recordings stored on my iPhone.
I learned that Sennheiser had "upgraded" its software from the

Well, I have the Mac OS working again, and Lightroom Classic opens… but I can’t
get it to open my catalog.
I have spent =many= hours struggling with this, and I need professional help
(much more of this stuff and I’ll need psychiatric help as well as cyber help).

Wow!
My favorites of this =excellent= collection:
- The house fronts reflected in the water ( # 75? A more viewer-friendly
numbering scheme would be nice.)
- The houses fronting on the canal, with reflections (#60)
- The roomful of bottles of beer,
- The church front (last shot)

I’m taking a photography course at the Fleisher Art Memorial here in Philly.
As per our first assignment last week, I brought in ten .jpg images on an
MS-DOS-formatted flash drive, as did my classmates.
Three different MS-DOS computers in the classroom did not recognize my flash

I haven’t posted any pix since October. The drought is hereby over.
I’m taking a photography course at the Fleisher Art Memorial, and this weeks
assignment was to shoot something we’d photographed before, in a new way.
So I dusted off my fisheye lens.

For some reason, I updated Lightroom Classic to the latest version.
Ugh.
I have a lot to do for a photo class tomorrow, so details will have to wait,
but:
Can I delete 13.1 and reinstall its predecessor without unleashing cyber-havoc?

Doug, I was wrong. The problem persists.
My next wide-open time is Friday, though late afternoon Wednesday or
Thursday would work.

Interesting bird! The body looks sharp but the head doesn’t; I’m guessing that
they don’t hold still very much. The highlights are also rather intense.
I always enjoy your photos of the flora and fauna in the opposite corner of the
globe!

What Henk and Alan said! I have always enjoyed your bird photos.
I’m particularly fond of white throated sparrows for their song. Philly isn’t
in their range, so I con’t hear their song until we go to a New Hampshire lake
for a vacation during the summer. That’s my “happy place,” and this bird
Alan, this is a lovely image, and very skillfully stitched together.
I had it fill the whole screen of my 24 in / 61 cm monitor and avoided
