Anyone? It's a really annoying problem!
If replication is not working correctly you might want to check your
SQL logs for errors.
What version of PowerDNS are you running?

Bert, I tried out the latest snapshot (r986) and I am still able to reproduce:

-bin/trac.fcgi/ticket/124
http://wiki.powerdns.com/cgi-bin/trac.fcgi/ticket/125
These would be pretty critical to any medium to large shop I would
think; any chance these are already on a short list of things to
hopefully be fixed before the eventual 2.9.21 release?

As with the other we app. that was posted recently; who is the core
audience for the app.? DNS Admins. managing their own domains or ISP
style with customers managing their own DNS?

The main thing is TCP/IP stability and performance, plus memory leaks

Any idea on when this is going to make it into a final release?
I can't speak to its inclusion in the official release, but I can say
that the patch has been working great for us for a while now.

can do this?
You could turn query-logging=yes on in your config. to see all queries:
http://doc.powerdns.com/all-settings.html
or build with --enable-verbose-logging .

I submitted a ticket
and add
net.ipv4.ip_nonlocal_bind=1
to your /etc/sysctl.conf to make it active at boot time.
Chris, this worked like a charm for us; we too were faced with needing
PowerDNS to come up ready to listen to an address that was not yet
bound to an interface.

These numbers are high; based on this I would investigate the MySQL

see PowerDNS choke.

The authoritative PowerDNS server has not had a release in quite some
time, but I am seeing some pretty handy fixes and a lot more recent
development in the trunk; am I way out of date if I am running a
tagged release in production? Is everyone just running out of the
trunk?
