Yes there is already the same version for Pharo/Squeak on Squeaksource.
There is actually a lot of code dispersed in several projects with
some duplication also.

Yes for the french edition of Pharo by example, we have done a special one
click image. We have also done modifications in the book. I guess these
modifications can be done also on the english version.
