In terms of integrating Pharo with any of these technologies, it can be done with Apache Synapse, and/or a combination of JINI (Apache River) services mapped to their Vert.x equivalents. (using Stamp or VerStix). I have the code for the latter. If anyone wants it I can clean it up to be present
