My initial PHP script is not recognizing the values in my include_path. Why?
I compiled and installed PHP yesterday:
$ php -version
PHP 5.2.9 (cli) (built: Mar 5 2009 15:33:55)
I then installed a PHP script whose beginning looks like this:

I keep getting errors saying that the required file could not be found or
something because the include_Path is wrong. Right now the include path is
set to ³..², I think because I saw it like that somewhere else and thought
that was the correct way to do it. I have tried so many things and

trouble writing and reading from flat files. I have never set the
