Hannes,
What is the policy or a standard on including the UI screenshots into the PHP
docs. For example for Windows specific installation instructions it may be
beneficial to show some UI screenshots to help users to find the right settings

Would like to add and help maintain the documentation for the gearman PECL
extension, so need access to phpdoc. Was pointed here by Hannes Magnusson on
the phpdoc mailing list.
You seem to have forgotten to enable the reference entity in book.xml
(&reference.gearman.reference;).
The functions seem to have a bunch of autogenerated text which should
be removed.
Actually, I left out that one on purpose. The focus at the Gearman
site is
on the OO interface, so I decided

Reverting wont help.
Our "up2date" system is very broken. The checks are against revision
Hello,
I have an initial pass at documentation for the Gearman
PECL extension. The created files can be found here:
http://collison.net/gearman/phpdoc/
In that directory are:
entities.reference.xml - has the &reference.entities.gearman; added
gearman_reference.tar.gz - the XML files

Hi.
Having removed the BOMs, I did a quick analysis of the various
encodings declared in the XML files.
57,020 files examined in PHPDOC and PEARDOC - all languages.
No files with BOM
ISO-8859-1 : 20,761 files
ISO-8859-2 : 3,185 files
ISO-8859-7 : 428 files
ISO-8859-8 : 2 files
WINDOWS-1255 : 19

Hi all,
I've been translating the zh (Simplified Chinese) manual these days.
I had an issue when I was building the manual into HTML files by PhD.
These were what I did as following:
# cd /home/php_manual/svn/
# svn co http://svn.php.net/repository/phpdoc/modules/doc-zh ./doc-zh
# /home/www/php5_
