Hello:
I picked up an Agfa Ventura 69 folder. The lens is filthy and shutter is
stiff and maybe worse than just that.
I would like to get it off for two purposes - Pinhole 6x9 of course, and to
battle the lens/shutter if possible.
I am puzzled abotu how to remove it - any experience with this?

Very interesting. I have a Lubitel myself (bought in a second hand shop
in Prague for 10 USD) that I wanted to use for serious 6x6 work, but
it leaks light like hell, so why not transform it. Can you give me

i'm not very handy, but the shutter in the Lubitel pops right off (from the
inside). i then punched a hole in a piece of shim-stock (any auto parts
store-very cheap), glued the zone plate to that, then glued the shimstock to
the shutter housing. all together it took about15 minutes.

I shoot zone plate and have been wondering how I could easily get a camera
with a shutter, due to the lack of being able to take shots faster than 1/2
second (bright daylight). How hard was it to modify the libitel? Looks
like there are dozens on ebay.

You don't say anything about hardware, but I guess from the quality
and square format you're using some kind of 6 x 6. We're trying to
decide whether to get a zone plate and pinhole sieve for our P67 with
a bodycap
Your choice of subject matter for zone plate is fabulous! You have inspired
me greatly. Thanks.

Brigitte.
Hi Chris,
I think you can see they are greatly appreciated by other
photographers. In fact we reckon they are the best lensless work we've
seen. The technique and the vision match beautifully.
