could, in theory set colour of an entire wallpaper based on icon colour using

I would avoid the shadows personally - it would be better to focus on better
spacing between the two areas and a clearer font usage to define them. Like
Broulik mentions it was removed more or less by active choice

The hamburger menu was my suggestion so I should probably say something about
it - for me the "launch" option is completely meaningless fluff. Another button

About half a year ago this thread started and so far no actual change has
happened.
The background is that the past logo for Plasma Desktop was disagreed upon by
the Plasma developer team and they wanted a new one. Thomas created a
competition of sorts which had a lot of suggestions in it.

From a visual standpoint: on the one hand it breaks the "Left Align Text"
when available, on the other the key feature of it is to inform the user of
something critical (which trumps visual coherence to the theme). So there is no

the bitmap version of them tend to be a tad more than the exact line width
making parts

can't the wallpaper picker, blur it with gaussian blur at the time of picking,
saving it in a special folder and at the same time deleting the past blurred
wallpaper?
So that when you log in you have your current wallpaper, blured as background?
