Yup, http://barangaywireless.net is one of my inspiration. I've
visited the site years ago. However, it seems like the site domain
name has expired already when I checked today.
Well my test/experiment was a success. I was able to redirect http
packets from the wireless side to my home web server.

Really Roger. Our own experience shows otherwise, and that of other
Kannel users on their mailing list corroborates our own. We once ran a
mobile app using Kannel on an old dual processor P-
a lot of telco have smpp interconnects. But it doesn't pass on open
internet. Its either on a leased line or a VPN connection.

ok understood... the reasons why you've got that rate as what i can

There is a Perl SMPP library. In my former job I wrote an SMPP
implementation (Client and server) using Net::SMPP with a bunch of
extensions. It worked for other languages too (hairy though).
The Net::SMPP library only implements the network part of SMPP. You

Yes, SMSC can relay the incoming messages and we are receiving DLRs for the
sms we sent on the connection. But the t

Yes kannel is just a client but the SMSC can relay the incoming message to
kannel as smpp client rather than having an SMSC-to-SMSC connection in which
you will really need a box
Actually its trivial to build an smpp box, just read the white paper it
should explain how the packets are constructed
Sorry, I didn't get the question (just read the title), try MRTG.

Accounting software as in like PeachTree and MYOB? For small
companies, GNUCash would be sufficient especially if you only need
recording of basic transactions and financial reporting (Trial

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the reply. Searching thru the Kannel forum, I was able to read
that you need smppbox, which is not free, for Kannel to accept incoming
smpp connection. Kannel is only a smsc client and not a smsc server.
