The way i understood from an HP product expert (HP Makati) is even if they don't have that product line anymore, they will replace with the next models available. Even if you have re-sold the product, the warranty still applies. But don't just take my word. You should ask your favorite HP vendor :)

What can you say about QNAP NAS products in terms of quality and performance? Where does this product manufactured? I'm trying do decide what NAS to get, this seems to have good features according to their website. So, I want to know the community's independent opinion. Thanks. _
