I started using Slackware because I wanted a distribution with a
standard kernel as tested and released by the kernel developers and a
kernel to which Ingo Molnar's real-time preemption patches could be
applied. Slackware is still in DistroWatch.com's top 10 distributions

convinced some unwitting victims to pay me for Linux/Network admin work at
my new job and I'm curious if anyone has any direct experience with the
