Id like to pass along a payable "item":
the need is for a Fedora fc3 stable kernel patched with linux-abi.sf.net
(for running sco binaries, I can provide with program for testing).
It requires you to provide:
1) patched kernel soucre
2) compiled kernel and modules
3) any notes to particulars ne
They are working on an Graduate program, dont yet know what exactly, but
hopefully it will be ready about the time I would finish so I could
continue on and complete that also.
Just like youve stated their program is very impressive and that is what
attracted me to NU at first.

A little Background: I am the typical self-taught utah admin / developer
(if I dare go that far) and since leaving my last position I have been
assessing my skills. What NU offers for cirriculum and the length of the
program
I could be wrong but am willing to bet that linux is seeing each disk
individually, not as a stripe since the controller may be software
based.. check for existance of sdb sdc sdd.. etc via dmesg or in proc..

Activestate has the "perl dev kit" that will compile a stand-alone
binary for linux/win. I preferr the older 5.1 version because it creates
samller binaries more easily that the new 5.6.
I use it regularly to "compile" over 2100 total lines of perl weekly..
and ive run same binary on all versions/
