I have a little NUC I've had since before I moved to Peru 12 years ago I
think. Once in a while while the computer boots, the computer complains
about the CMOS battery. sometimes after I boot the clock is off for a

It would actually be better if I could dd my existing iso drive with
persistence provided the entire device is copied bit for bit so that it is

well, I'll zero out the drive. I was doing so earlier but unwittingly
pulled the drive out when it was half-way done. it's funny, dd started at
15mb/s transfer rate and dropped to 5ish but this time it started a 5ish.
