Might it becuse it's missing this -acodec codec in the command? If the option
is not there, ffmpeg

I was just using a RAW Sony DVD camera format with sound without using the
sound codec options.

If you want to test things without paying for RHEL licensing, get CentOS(.org)
It's basically RHEL, minus the cost. Test, and if it works there, it'll work
on RHEL.
