On the Softsqueeze troublshooting page Mr. Titmus provides several hacks
to get Softsqueeze to sync with the Squeezebox. The last of those is a
command prompt which he requests feedback if that does not work. I
cannot find any other way to provide that feedback to him other than

I'm using a recent 6.5 iteration (r6029). The Random Mix plugin is
behaving really strangely. It tends to add songs from an album that
was recently played by SlimServer on a different player. About 1/2 the
songs being 'randomly' added are from this one album. There are about

I am working on a plugin and I want to be able to do the things listed

The Windows Mplayer does not seem to have a SIPR codec included so you
may not be able to ditch the codecs directory just yet if you listen to
stations which use SIPR instead of COOK (e.g. RTE1, NPR news summary.

You were right I think, I made a pig's ear of the installation. However it
prompted me to upgrade to 6.5 so no bad thing.
