LastFM on my SB seems to just stop reasonably often (perhaps an average of once an hour..) I assume this isn't normal? This sounds like a problem at the LastFM end. They would probably suggest taking out a subscription as that (supposedly) gets you preferential treatment on the streaming

SlimCD is installed on an USB pendrive. If I look at the slimupdate.pl file, it seems to me that the version is verified using a file on your website that still reports 6.3 as the latest version. But if Perl also needs to be updated, it becomes a bit more complicated of course. -- Mathiou

Give me a few more hours to finalize the updated SlimCD 1.8... Ouch! Tonight there's been a change which will prevent slimserver from being run as root. This has quite a few consequences for SlimCD. I'll have to go over a lot of stuff to get it up and running again :-( -- Michael
