I've upgraded to 6.5 and re-installed Alien BBC and all works fine
except I am not getting the additional Alien streams (or the facility
to add or delete stream items within Alien BBC).
The basic streams are all working fine.
The menu items seem to be within the Plugins folder but there doesn't
Hello,
SlimCD is running since month on my computer and I would like to update
it with Slimserver 6.5.
When I launch the slimupdate.sh, it tells me: Already up to date
but slimserver reports: 6.3.1 - 8476 - Debian - FR - iso-8859-1
Any idea ?
Thanks

This fix will be in the new version.

Hi
Thanks for that explanation, I'm beginning to get to grips with this
functionality.
One more question, if I may: last night, for some reason I haven't
worked out yet, I managed to leave a copy of softsqueeze playing the
same song on repeat - all night! So it now shows as having 204 plays.

I'm seeing similar behavior w/ latest plugin on SB3 and current 6.5. I

LastFM on my SB seems to just stop reasonably often (perhaps an

This sounds like a problem at the LastFM end.

I've just upgraded my QNAP to SS 6.5.0 and added the 'All-in-one' plugin

With 6.3.1 the WeatherTime screensaver was working perfectly, now I've

message. I've checked all the configuration settings, which appear to

Depends on how you installed SlimCD: did you install to disk, frugal, USB

If I look at the slimupdate.pl file, it seems to me that the version is
verified using a file on your website that still reports 6.3 as the
latest version.
But if Perl also needs to be updated, it becomes a bit more complicated
of course.

James,
There seems to be something wrong with iTunes update and the newest
iTunes. The last two days I've gotten an error message along the lines
of Server Error: Method - Get Version Number. I'm sorry I didn't copy
it down. I'll do so next time and post it here. Also, my iTunes is

Yes. That's it.
To update it, I just have to boot on the future updated SlimCD with the
boot option to restore the backup from my USB
I hope, I will be able to provide a new release (compatible with 6.5)
this weekend...
Sorry for the inconvenience!

I was wondering if Rhapsody is working with version 6.50 ?
I'm new to using this plugin so I need to know where to look for

I downloaded and installed the latest SlimScrobbler plugin from

- run slimserver with the --d_plugin flag and see what errors are
generated on startup
- make sure you have completely cleared out the old plugins before
installing the new ones
- i'm fairly sure that putting plugin.pm straight into the plugins
